Presentation at Semicon West
Allentown, Pa., March 31, 2009- Akrion Systems LLC, "Akrion Systems," a supplier of advanced processes and surface preparation equipment for the semiconductor and solar markets, invites you to join Ismail Kashkoush, PhD, Vice President of Applications and Technology, for a presentation at Semicon West discussing process considerations for silicon-based photovoltaic cell manufacturing.
Dr. Kashkoush along with Mr. David Jimenez of Wright, Williams and Kelly, Inc. (www.wwk.com) will be presenting a paper that discusses the impact of surface contamination on c-Si processing for photovoltaic applications. Topics covered will include surface analysis, IPA replacement, and chemical concentration control.
The paper will focus on the importance of pre-cleaning prior to texturization for photovoltaic cell production. A case study on the cost of ownership (COO) of wet processing for silicon-based solar cells will also be presented using Akrion Systems' GAMA-Solar as an example.
The presentation is scheduled for 12 PM on Thursday, July 15 as part of the Plasma Applications Group meeting from 11 AM to 3 PM. The meeting will be held in Moscone Hall, TechSITE North during Semicon West in San Francisco, California.
